WISH INDUSTRY MIND TOUR at MAROC

Well its on! The MIND tour is officially starting the 21st of October in Salt Lake City. Mind the DJ/VJ team from Brasil is on tour and I am happy to be part of this project and working with great people like Wish Industry. MAROC is the 1st venue I am joining the tour at in San Antonio. I have never been there but my family lived there before I was born. I bet its changed and now we get to rock this city like its been waiting for!

King West Fitness 171 East Liberty St. Sutie 275 Toronto, ON

The party at King West Fitness was great. They will be hosting monthly events there, so be on the look out for more fitness parties in the future. Never thought what a great venue a gym would be. They cleared out half the work out equipment, got lights, sound, djs, bars, couches, filled in some people.....made a nice party. The venue is huge and with a little more promotion the place can hold tons of people, I think its a great spot to rock it. We broadcast the sets live on ObsessedRadio.com so next time if you cant make the event tune in for the music. From PIP singing live to Ryan Callaghan and Igor Borsyov on the decks, some great music was dropped.  I cant wait to go back to Toronto soon as the whole weekend was superb. Thanks to all that made it a wonderful weekend.

Well I have been meaning to go to Toronto to visit my lovely Canadian friends and what an excuse to go but to play a gig. I was offered to play at an unusual venue which is a work out gym! Well I love working out, but Im not sure how that coordinates to partying, but Im sure it will be fun at the grand opening of King West Fitness.

MANAfest

Following the Techy House scene in Miami came the MANAFest. A three day PsyTrance festival presented by Yogi Bogey Box at the beautiful Echo Lake, NY. What a change of pace that was. I had 2 days to switch my mind from my 130BPM tech music to banging 140BPM Psy Trance. It took me a day before I could get into the Psy mode, but once I did oh boy did I bring the sound. I was booked for 1.5 hrs and at the end of the set was a scheduled break. You guys were not having it when I stopped the music, too into the groove to chillax…….what to do but to crank the system and keep going. The second part of my set I recorded for you guys and posted it on the website for download. Thank god DA came to the rescue and took over. After over 3hrs of DJing it was time for a break. DA killed it and the days went on. The Deco was superb and the sound average. I feel a laser or two would have made it for me, but thats just my taste. It was a spiritual event with amazing people that all had an aura of happiness and delight throughout. The beautiful weather made it great, even the slight drizzle at the end was touching to the soul. From the classes of Yoga and Aikido to some spiritual gatherings with meditation made this wonderful event healing in an epic way. I hope to see you all next year when MANAFest returns.

No Sugar Added presents Robbie Rivera

The Sunday before Labor Day  no better way to have spent the day but at the Gansevoort Beach Party with Robbie Rivera headlining on the massive VOID Sound System. It was an incredible event with other insane DJs such as Dimitri Vegas and LIke Mike who's 2010 productions have been nothing short of amazing. Don't forget we had Richard Gray from Subliminal came through as a special guest who killed it along with David Solano, and Donnie Lowe. Of course the night ended with a banging set from no other but Karbokane myself. We apologize for the cutting the night short. It wasn't my idea to end my set early but it was the pissy hotel management that made me cut it off with out even bringing you down on a even note. I apologize, and again not my idea. Needless to say the Gansevoort better step it up a bit and perhaps respect the people when have events there. On a positive note the day was hot and beautiful, sexy guys and girls everywhere. I cant  wait to play another event for the lovely No Sugar Added parties soon.  Don't miss next year!!
